Morning Presentations
Venue: INFINITY8 Reserve George Town, 2, Lebuh Pantai, 10300 George Town

    • Introduction of our venue sponsor Infinity8 (8:00 AM)

    • Startup Scene in Penang (8:30 AM - 9:00 AM): Gain insights into Penang’s dynamic startup ecosystem with a presentation by Curry Khoo, a key figure in the local entrepreneurial community.

    • Digital Penang (9:00 AM - 9:30 AM): Hear from Ts. Kwang Ming Ng, CEO of Digital Penang, who will share the latest developments and initiatives in the digital transformation of Penang. (Pending confirmation)

  2. Penang Port Visit & Boat Tour (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM): Explore the second largest port in Malaysia with an introduction to Penang Port services, followed by a scenic boat tour. This is a unique opportunity to understand the port’s operations and its role in national trade. Refreshment and snacks served.

  3. Back to Infinity8:

    • Meeting with Invest Penang (1:45 PM - 2:30 PM): Connect with representatives from InvestPenang and discover the investment opportunities and incentives available for businesses in Penang.

    • Relocation Opportunities (2:30 PM - 3:00 PM): Learn about the lifestyle benefits of relocating to Penang from Mayor Rajendran P. Anthony. He will discuss housing options, international schools, healthcare facilities, and more.

  4. Visit to Penang Institute (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Meet Dato Kee Beng Ooi, Executive Director of Penang Institute, who will introduce the think tank and discuss Penang’s future from their perspective.

    • Limited Group: Meeting with Governor (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM): For selected corporate heads of member companies approved by the Governor’s office

  5. Malaysia’s Best Oktoberfest by the Malaysian-German Society (7:00 PM - 11:00 PM): Conclude the day by celebrating at Malaysia’s most authentic Oktoberfest, organized by the Malaysian-German Society. Enjoy traditional German food, music, and drinks in a lively atmosphere.

    • Special Offer: Any Nordic Business Chamber/Council members are eligible for the MGS member fee.
